Dear Caring Friends,
I greet you in the Name of our Loving Lord Jesus, Who gave His life for our salvation, and Who promised never to leave nor forsake us.
I write these words to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for your generous support for our ministries, while I am laboring in Asia. The Apostle Paul wrote: “Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, that our sphere of activity…will greatly expand, so that I can preach the Gospel in the regions beyond you.” (2 Corinthians 10:15-16)
I have been privileged to witness in so many countries of the world for almost 60 years. Now my burden for the people in India has enlarged to include those to whom I have ministered in Burma, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and China. The Bible promised that, contrary to the law of nature that relegates life to barrenness in old age, we continue to bear fruit even in old age! It is very tiring to travel like I do, but the Lord has been my strength and my provision. This year my missionary trip to Asia has been on a free mileage ticket. I will visit Beijing, China, for the first time, on my way back to America the end of this month. I have some contacts there, and ask you to pray that the Lord will open doors for me to witness there, and will strengthen me, and grant me traveling mercies.
I can say without hesitation that God is so good. Not only has He sent His Son in to the world to be our Savior and Lord, but He has promised to love us, to be our Companion, and to provide for us as He does for the sparrows. We are assured that as we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, that all these things will be added to us.
I know that many of you will not be privileged as have I to minister in other countries. But you prayers have enabled me to go, and you will share in any blessings and rewards that the Lord gives. And may He continue to bless you, heal you, prosper you, and care for you until He calls you to our Heavenly Home.
